VISION
Undergraduate Program:
“To become a leading study program in producing mechanical engineering graduates (bachelor’s degree) who are capable of conducting research and development in Science, Technology, and Arts (IPTEKS) in the fields of Energy Conversion, Machine Construction, and Metallurgy.”
Master’s Program:
“To become a center of excellence in mechanical engineering to support global sustainability with a maritime culture spirit.”
Doctoral Program (S3):
“To become a center of excellence in research, engineering, and the application of mechanical engineering with a global orientation and perspective, guided by a maritime cultural ethos.”
MISION
Undergraduate Program:
- Implementing the Tri-dharma of Higher Education to improve the quality of science and technology in order to support and promote community welfare.
- Developing and implementing programs to produce graduates in the specialized field of mechanical engineering, in accordance with the criteria outlined in this educational vision: being faithful and devout to the One True God, possessing high moral character, embodying Indonesian culture, demonstrating scientific enthusiasm, presenting an intellectual demeanor, possessing academic and professional competencies, being future-oriented and forward-thinking, and capable of performing effectively and optimally in their environment.
Developing and implementing a dynamic and accommodative curriculum that addresses community needs, advancements in science and technology, and anticipates future developments.
Master’s Program:
To develop education, research, and community service in the field of mechanical engineering with a maritime cultural spirit.
To produce high-quality master’s degree holders in engineering who are knowledgeable, master advanced technology, possess innovative capabilities, and are able to compete in their field both nationally and globally.

Doctoral Program:
To produce graduates who are independent, of high quality, have broad knowledge, master advanced technology, and possess innovation and competitiveness in their field at the regional, national, and international levels.
To develop education, research, and community service in the field of mechanical engineering with a maritime cultural spirit through scientific works that contribute regionally, nationally, and internationally.
To establish a center of excellence for research, engineering, and the application of mechanical engineering science for sustainable development in the era of global competition.
