REGULAR MASTER'S DEGREE COOPERATION PROGRAM
Department of Mechanical Engineering

The Master’s Program in Mechanical Engineering (PSMTM) at UNHAS received an EXCELLENT accreditation in 2022 from the National Accreditation Board and has been included in the list of programs eligible for LPDP scholarships since 2019. PSMTM has produced alumni who have successfully established their careers at the institutions where they work, spread across various universities and industries. PSMTM has been offering a regular master’s program since 1997.

In order to expand access to master’s-level education, particularly in mechanical engineering, and in response to the significant interest from prospective students wishing to continue their education, PSMTM also offers a Regular Collaboration Class. The Regular Collaboration Class is part of the regular program, with classes conducted through blended learning (online and offline). The Regular Collaboration Class aims to accommodate prospective students who wish to continue their education but are already employed by government or private institutions and are bound by regular work schedules.

Prospective students who already have research topics related to their workplaces may use those topics as thesis themes, aligning them with the expertise of their prospective thesis advisors. This will greatly assist students in completing their theses. The Regular Collaboration Program will assist prospective students who face difficulties participating in regular classroom activities due to their work commitments. Lectures will be held outside of working hours, with further details to be arranged.

IMPLEMENTATION OF LECTURES

This master’s degree program is designed to be completed in 4 (four) semesters with a total of 41 credit hours. If the program cannot be completed within 4 (four) semesters, it will be adjusted in accordance with the academic regulations governing the implementation of the master’s program at Hasanuddin University. Lectures are conducted at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Hasanuddin University, and can be delivered both in-person and online using a blended learning approach. All examinations are conducted in-person at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Hasanuddin University.
