Knowledge
Apply mathematics, basic science, and fundamental engineering principles to solve problems in mechanical systems.
Apply basic mechanical engineering principles to solve problems in mechanical engineering systems.
General Skills
Ability to analyze problems in mechanical systems through investigation, data analysis, and interpretation.
Ability to conduct research that includes identifying, formulating, and analyzing problems using modeling and simulation in mechanical systems.
Ability to design systems and equipment using design process knowledge for specific needs.
Ability to utilize information technology and computing devices to design, create, and maintain mechanical systems.
